Szoke looking for new ride
Brantford's motorcycle racing
champion is looking for a new ride for the next Canadian Superbike
Championship.
Kawasaki has decided to scale back
its participation in the Canadian motorcycle racing circuit next
season.
Jordan Szoke rode a Kawasaki for five
of his seven Superbike championships and was on his "green
machine" for four of his five Sportbike wins.
"I am grateful to Kawasaki for
our long history," Szoke said. "We have enjoyed many
successes together. I want to thank them for the opportunity and all
the years of winning we enjoyed."
Now, Szoke is looking for a new
manufacturer.
"We will still be racing,"
he said. "I am still young, fit and successful. This is my job.
It's what I do."
Szoke came second in the 2011
Canadian Superbike Championship after taking five straight crowns from
2006 to 2010.
